news flash: a good majority of people who count on him for their pay cheque and for their current job think that jean chretien is a good guy. no shit sherlock. in more important news: people who don't need to kiss his ass to keep their job think he's an idiot! i'm so glad we have some mps with backbone in this country who can insure that there is something to be said for parliamentary democracy BETWEEN elections!

in news of my world: i'm trying to sort out all of my tax stuff for england. it looks like i can probably get away with becoming a british resident the minute i leave canada and therefore not paying taxes on my british income in canada. which is sweet- because britain doesn't charge tax on scholarship or tuition income which is the way it should be in canada. and to think it took us forever and a day just to be able to extend the scholarship limitation to $3000!

by the way, it's 40 days until i leave. i can't believe it's that quick. keep your eyes peeled here for the countdown :)
