I know I have agreed with other's who feel that blog entries should not nearly be that long, but I felt compelled. My blog was started because I needed a forum for my writing and an outlet for the myriad political, social and academic thoughts running through my head (fragmented or otherwise). And as I know no longer work for any newspapers or magazines, this will have to do. My apologies but it's my blog :)
